
setelah berhasil dan bermain sudo di ubuntu..fedora pun menjadi target selanjutnya.
sebener'e sudah beberapa hari yg lalu telah men-download iso live-cd nya fedora tp ga sempet mo install..
akhirnya hari ini tepat hari minggu tanggal 16-agustus 2009 jam 08:23 pm fedora pun terinstall...
desktop gnome kutelusuri setiap tombol dan menunya... ups.. oiya teringat akan boot-loader... hmmm bgmn nasib Xp dan ubuntunya?
system pun direstart .. hela dalah benar ternyata.. di menu grub cuma ada pilihan fedora~ dan other..
other ku select tombol enter ku tekan.. jreng jreng.. windows Xp booting... aduoh(kukur2 bathuk).. kudu install ubuntu lagi ni....
eiittss .. bentar dulu keknya pernah baca tentang ubuntu-grub-recovery.. googling dan dapat, cara memperbaikinya menggunakan Ubuntu-live-cd..
berikut langkah langkah ku menyelesaikan tantangan ini,
::memperbaiki grub bootloader ubuntu::
-boot ubuntu-live-cd
-jalankan terminal... dan masuk ke-grub
dengan ketik perintah,
sudo grub
setelah masuk dalam grub shell ("grub>") ketik perintah
find /boot/grub/stage1perintah diatas memunculkan output hd?,?
ketikan perintah berikut,
root (hd?,?)(hd?,?) isi tanda-tanya dengan sesuai dengan hasil dari find /grub/stage1 (misal: hd0,2)
selanjutnya menulis/install grub di MBR dengan perintah,
setup (hd0)
keluar dari shell "grub>" dengan perintah
quit
kemudian restart system... keluarkan ubuntu-live-cd dari drive rom
dan grub ubuntu-pun telah kembali....
WinXp ada ....tapi ko' ga' ada fedoranya?hilangkah, terhapuskah?
dont worry....berikut yang saya lakukan untuk menampilkan fedora pada menu grub loadernya ubuntu
::menambahkan fedora pada menu di grub ubuntu::
-boot ubuntu
-jalankan terminal
- masuk ke root .. dengan perintah
sudo sumasukan password jika diharuskan
kemudian mount dahulu drive dmn fedora terinstall.. biar lebih mudah lewat explorer saja.. klik kanan drive tsb dan pilih mount..
otomatis drive tsb akan ter-mount-kan di folder media/
jika drive memiliki label maka drive tsb akan ter-mount-kan dengan media/nama_label
jika tidak nama_label menjadi "disk","disk-1","disk-2" dst
lanjut ke terminal,
untuk membuka list grub punyanya fedora ketikan perintah,
gedit /media/disk/boot/grub/menu.lstmaka akan muncul gedit-editor
untuk membuka list grub punyanya ubuntu ketikan perintah,
gedit /boot/grub/menu.lstkita akan meng-copy beberapa line dari menu.lst-nya fedora ke menu.lst-nya ubuntu
copy beberapa line berikut dari menu.lst fedora
